Preamp Service for 5 Pin Janus Suitcase piano

If you're missing sound out of one side (or both), your tremolo is distorted on one side (or both), your pots are super scratchy, your connector is loose...it's probably a good idea to have your preamp looked at. At this point, it's quite likely that your 40+ year old piano has never been serviced and some of the components in your preamp are on their last legs. Send it in. We'll test it out and find out if there are any issues, and if so, what they are. If it checks out clean, we'll just lubricate the pots and sliders and send it back to you. If you decide to have it refurbished by us, the price for the testing will roll into the price of the refurb. What have you got to lose? This service includes everything your preamp will need* to sound its best. We'll recap it with high quality capacitors, lubricate those scratchy pots and sliders, replace your ICs if needed, give you a new RCA plug and do whatever else needs to be done.

*Additional cost may apply if potentiometer/slider and/or cable replacement is needed.

Please remove preamp from rail before shipment, and use a shipping service with tracking. Pack your shipment well and insure it at your discretion. Depending on service you choose, USPS Priority in a flat rate medium size box is a good option. Email us tracking information upon receipt. The shipping charge associated with this is for return shipping, usually USPS priority.
