Preamp Service for 4 Pin Peterson Suitcase piano

If you're missing sound out of one side (or both), your tremolo knob is acting like a volume knob, your pots are super scratchy, your connector is loose...it's probably a good idea to have your preamp looked at. At this point, it's quite likely that your 40+ year old piano has never been serviced and your tremolo bulbs and electrolytic capacitors are on their last legs. Send it in. We'll test it thoroughly and see if there are any issues and what they are. If there's nothing amiss and you don't want any work done, we'll send it on back. If you send it in for testing and decide to have it refurbished, the price of the initial testing bench fee will be rolled into the price for the amp refurb. What have you got to lose? This service includes everything your preamp will need* to sound its best. We'll recap it with high quality capacitors, put in new tremolo bulbs, lubricate those scratchy pots, give you a new RCA plug and do whatever else needs to be done.

Please remove preamp from rail before shipment, and use a shipping service with tracking. Pack your shipment well and insure it at your discretion. Depending on service you choose, USPS Priority in a flat rate medium size box is a good option. Email us tracking information upon receipt. The shipping charge associated with this is for return shipping, usually USPS priority.
