Amp Module Rebuild Service for 4 Pin Peterson Suitcase pianos (pair)
If your 4 pin suitcase distorts, only has sound coming out of one side (or none!), or is incredibly buzzy, there's a good chance that failing or failed amp modules are the culprit. Over time the germanium output transistors on these WILL fail, causing the aforementioned issues, and potentially catching fire and causing major damage to your Rhodes. Don't let that happen. If you've never had your modules serviced, do so now before you have fire shooting at your ankles while you play (we've seen it).
No matter the condition, we will refurbish your modules with new silicon based transistors, new power resistors, new bias resistors, new electrolytic capacitors, a new RCA jack, and whatever other components are necessary to get yours rock solid*, sounding great, stable, and no longer keeping you up at night with the threat of catching fire. And yes, they really do catch fire, and it's nasty.
To do this, simply purchase this option from our shop, and send us your modules well packed and insured. When checkout is complete we will send you an email with the shipping address and instructions. Price is for both modules to be repaired and includes return shipping to you. If you want your preamp reconditioned as well, now is a good time to do that!
*In the case that the interstage transformer has been damaged an additional fee may be added for a replacement, but this is pretty rare, and if it's needed, we will discuss before proceeding.
